     The SACC program coordinator / Teacher is primarily responsible
      for and must be
competent in the operation of the District’s before
      and after school child
care program by:
 
planning program activities    designing the program environment
communicating with parents  preparing billing statements
supervising children             directing the work of program assistant(s)
 
  • Desired                 Current First Aid Certification
Qualifications:     2,080 hours of child care experience or Bachelors degree
                               with
6 units (1,040 hours) of relevant training in:
                                     - child development               - child guidance
                                     - human relations                  -  communications 
                                     - recreational programming     
   
      The School Aged Child Care program operates before school
       (6:00 – 8:15 am)
 and after school (3:15 – 6:00 pm) on the days
       school is in session.  This 
Community Education position is
       compensated by the hour.  Total hours are 
estimated to be
       five hours per day or approximately 580 hours for the remainder
       of the 
2014-2015 school year.   Compensation:  $15.44 per hour.
